This is Why I left Style Collective.
I was 3 years into starting my entrepreneurial journey while still working my day job and being a mom. I've met incredible entrepreneurs throughout the way and it has been a ride for sure.
The one thing I can assure you that I have learned during all this time and still today is that you absolutely CANNOT do it alone. There is only a handful of people unfortunately that understand this. I say it all the time: Creativity has no Competition. But the truth is, you will sadly find "One Hit Wonders" along the way when it comes to building a business.
It is critical, in my opinion, that if you are an entrepreneur you must seek 3 things:
Style Collective is a group of like minded women that are in it to win it together. Did you hear that? TO-GE-THER! yes that is correct.
When I was with my SC Sisters I always felt my best. We supported one another, empowered each other and just enjoyed being able to share the same challenges when it comes to building our brands.
Style Collective was and I am sure is still filled with amazing resources. Everything you ever needed to know about making your blogging passion a real business is all in there. There is so much to take in.
I made many genuine friendships…had my cute little badge….made me feel so official….But it happened….
That moment when you feel “stuck” and not sure what you are building anymore. The shiny objects are so bright that you forget the reason why you even started in the first place. I enjoyed attending the really fancy events and dinners but after that, I had no real profitable business to come home to and I needed the time off to figure it all out.
This is how my agency started. Because I took the break to find clarity within myself and really embrace my zone of genius, I am proud to be managing a business that is helping others and me doing it all with joy.
I am very grateful that I had the time to spend with my SC sisters because I learned a lot about myself. It is a wonderful community.
